VDC as Supporter of ITU’s “Discovering the Citiverse” Initiative

The Virtual Dimension Center (VDC) supports companies, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises, in successfully leveraging key digital technologies and facilitates the transfer of innovation into practical applications. In this context, the VDC also supports the international “Global Initiative on Virtual Worlds and AI – Discovering the Citiverse” led by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) and has been officially listed as a Supporter.

The initiative brings together stakeholders from government, industry, academia, and civil society to jointly shape the responsible development of AI-powered virtual worlds. We are proud to be part of this forward-looking collaboration, as the combination of artificial intelligence and immersive technologies holds great potential for creating secure, interoperable, and impactful digital environments. As a competence network for virtual engineering, virtual reality, and 3D simulation, the VDC actively contributes to the initiative by participating in thematic tracks, sharing business cases, co-organizing events, providing expertise, and promoting the goals of the initiative through public advocacy.
