Unveiling the program of XR EXPO 2024

Once again, we are honored to have Dr. Nicole Hoffmeister-Kraut, Minister of Economic Affairs, Labour, and Tourism of the State of Baden-Württemberg, as the patron of XR EXPO. She will inaugurate the event, setting the stage for a remarkable gathering.

In addition to the exhibition on XR technologies and professional applications of VR, MR and AR in industry, architecture, health, trade & crafts, this year's XR EXPO congress will also feature exciting presentations. The focus will be on XR & metaverse business strategy, regulation and standardization as well as XR technologies & methodologies, but also on XR and metaverse applications. Highlights of the Congress include Anne Bajart's presentation on the "EU Perspective on Virtual Worlds" and Jörg Schneider's insights into "The Regulation of the Metaverse" from the German Federal Network Agency. Franco Trapasso, Lead Plant Project Office at FESTO, will present "eXtended Reality and Metaverse at FESTO," offering valuable perspectives.

Exciting presentations from industry giants Siemens and Varjo, among others, will add further depth to the XR EXPO experience. Workshops covering a spectrum of topics, including "Gathering Industrial Requirements for a Baden-Württemberg Metaverse Strategy" by CyberLänd and an "Overview of the AREA ROI Model" by Mark Sage, Executive Director of Augmented Reality Enterprise Alliance (AREA), will enrich the program.
